Hats Off to OnYourHeadBeIt.com

New Site Rapidly Grows Online Sales

Whilst OnYourHeadBeIt has been a bit of a secret, known to a bespoke group as the ‘go to’ company for standout headwear, two weeks ago saw the launch of their new e-commerce website. For the first time in their history, company founder Michelle O’Callaghan, is finding herself doing business with people she has never even met before.

Open designed and built the new site that enables people to choose from a large selection of hats and headwear for different social occasions and gives them the option of buying or renting their chosen headpiece. The site also offers a range of dresses that compliment the hats as well as a range of jewelry and other accessories.

The site was carefully structured so that the user experience is both simple to use and easy to navigate through to the payment cart.

The site has already shown a 4000% increase in month on month visitor traffic which is mainly due to a specialist SEO campaign by Open.

There has also been a 250% increase in sales in just over 30 days, so congratulations to Michelle and her (growing) team who are now reaping the benefits of online trading.

Business Engaging End Consumers at The National Homebuilding and Renovating Show

To support ongoing activity to build a strong consumer ‘specified’ brand, Open supported Evolution Windows at the National HomeBuilding & Renovating Show at the NEC by designing a new stand within a 4 week turnaround time, designing and producing new point-of-sale material and a new animated showreel to educate the show’s visitors about the different product ranges on offer and a series of compelling benefits to buy.

The stand was the first time that Evolution had used an island space which gave ample space to display products, helped by the fact that the 3D designs created by Open had helped to scope the space available and decide which products to display.

Opening New Doors for Evolution Windows

From the initial involvement back in 2006 to redevelop their brand, Open have worked with industry new boys, Evolution Windows to grow their partner reseller network and develop a credibile “specified” brand with end consumers.

In the latest company development venture, February 2011 saw the launch of “The English Door Company”  a new product direction to take them into the highly competitive marketplace of ‘timber alternative’ replacement doors.

Open were responsible for developing the new brand identity and logo, an extensive product photographic shoot using acclaimed photographer Jayne West, a new 40 page customer facing brochure, a direct consumer advertising campaign and a consumer facing website for customers to use to view product and resellers to use as a showreel.

It was important that the new brand had a unique identity and not sit as a mere an add-on to the current company offering, however the main Evolution brand was used as a quality reinforcement until the new brand can stand alone.
